Makhana/Lotus Seeds Porridge For Babies

Ingredients

  • ½ cup MakhanaLotus Seed
  • ¾ cup Hot Water or Milk
  • ½ tsp Ghee
  • 1 - 2 tbsp Sweetener (Jaggerydate syrupany fruit puree)

Instructions

  • Take makhana and dry roast them till it gets slightly golden in color.
  • Switch off the flame and let it cool down. Grind it to make fine powder.
  • Now take hot water in a bowl. Mix makhana powder in hot water and stir well so that no lumps are formed.
  • Lastly, add ghee and sweetener to it.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

Add hot water little by little and keep checking consistency of the porridge. If you get the desired consistency then sto adding water.
You can use milk instead of water.
